The Eryilmaz group (Technology Development Department, ISKO)
Dr. Jitka Eryilmaz is an expert in the areas of molecular biology, protein crystallography, and biochemistry with the focus of industrial applications. She aims at bringing the expertise in the field of “design & development of novel biological systems” and their possible applications to industry. This includes reduction or, in some cases, complete replacement of harsh chemicals and processes involving those that are being utilized throughout the production processes.
Dr. Jitka Eryilmaz has published over 50 refereed articles and international patents combined. She was awarded an EU FP6 Marie Curie RTN grant in 2010 and NWO/NCI-LIFT of the Netherlands in 2015. She currently represents her company within the framework of OXYTRAIN/H20202-MSCA-ITN-2016 and is an expert evaluator for the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2017 call. Dr. Jitka Eryilmaz is also a scientific board member of International Biotechnology Congress 2017.
